Partha Bhattacharjee, born in the town of Chandannagore, a former French colony in India, in 1958, is an artist whose journey into the world of art began during his teenage years. Growing up as the youngest of five children in a middle-class family, Partha had a simple and unassuming childhood, filled with the joys of spending time with cousins and friends. It was during his teenage years that Partha’s deep passion for art and painting began to blossom. Inspired by the sketches of a school friend, he felt a strong pull towards the world of visual expression.
